The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for business owners, general contractors, job foremen, field supervisors, safety officers or anyone in a supervisory position at a job site. Most large construction projects are now requiring supervisors to have completed the OSHA 30 Hour Safety Training Program as part of a continuing effort to reduce accidents, incidents, injury and death on job sites. This program provides complete information on OSHA compliance and safety at the workplace. OSHA recommends Outreach Training Programs as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. In an effort to provide the best learning experience, this course has been set up to be conducted over four days and within a two week time period. This allows the student time to digest the material covered and to keep job production on schedule. The course has been designed so that students learn through class interaction, personal experiences, videos, photographs and hand outs. All of which are meant to reinforce the topics covered. Each student receives their own copy of the OSHA Code of Federal Regulations Manual for Construction (29 CFR 1926). Students learn how to locate specific OSHA regulations within the OSHA 29CFR 1926 manual and how each standard relates to their trade.
